What is surgical stainless steel?

SUS316L (hereinafter referred to as 316L stainless steel) is an accessory made from the highest quality 316L stainless steel used in medical equipment.

This material has the characteristic of being rust-resistant.
It is said to be almost equivalent to common precious metals such as 18K gold and platinum 900, making it an ideal material for those with metal allergies.

It is said that the main cause of metal allergies is the dissolution of metal ions contained in jewelry due to sweat or body fluids. When these ions bind with proteins in the body and become allergens, an allergic reaction occurs.

Some metals, like silver, oxidize and discolor due to air or sweat, and some, like iron, rust, but 316L stainless steel is resistant to corrosion and heat, so it has the advantage of not deteriorating easily even if worn for a long time.

What is nickel-free?

What is PVD coating?

PVD coating is said to be a metal processing method that is gentle on the skin.
It is an abbreviation for Physical Vapor Deposition and refers to the physical vapor deposition method.

PVD coating can improve various metal properties such as wear resistance, adhesion resistance, and mold release properties.
It provides a beautiful appearance, has excellent adhesion, corrosion resistance, and abrasion resistance, is gentle on the skin, and does not contain metal allergens.
The aforementioned 316L stainless steel is less likely to cause allergies than general alloys, but by applying a PVD coating, it becomes even more hypoallergenic and skin-friendly.
